Now: Endlessly curious.

Status: Motivated like never before. Found many things that sparked my curiosity.

Mood

This summer was quite different from the last two, I was able to complete way more projects than ever. It's like finding a lost spark. I can't quite recall what drove me to engineering and for the first time in a while, I feel like I found it—The reason I enjoyed computer science. I just love understand these systems, the way things are handled within and to see everything beneath the abstraction and that is what made computers so very fun to me.

When I was young, almost everything in this field was a mystery to me and mysteries aplenty still remain but they weren't impossible anymore once I tried. Somewhere along the line, I just stopped learning more complex things and was content with what I already knew. However, this summer was a very odd one—It pushed me beyond my boundaries to chase what I once pursued.

Oddly enough, this site would never have been a thing if it weren't for this summer. Simply because I was scared of failing, of not being perfect, of making some mistake or how everything would collapse and fall down. Many of my projects were abandoned for the same reason but the answer to that concern was always with me—I just never noticed it and whosoever needs to hear this:

If to fall is to accept defeat, then how will you ever rise up?

Status Updates

As of the date I'm writing this, I am quite thrilled to explore the field in greater depth. I have found things to study aplenty. Speaking of which, I just realized that a lot of people don't use the term "Aplenty" anymore and it seems to be a forgotten adverb. Anyways, I have designed a dedicated roadmap to pursue Cybersecurity in-depth along with my regular academic work and projects. Mastery in cybersecurity feels less like a career interest and more like a mountain that I need to climb. Something akin to second nature per se.

I am working on following projects:

  • OSDev MTK: A multi-threaded kernel designed to provide me the learning experience to eventually develop an actual useful kernel and OS.
  • LFS: Linux-From-Scratch but I also intend to make my own installer medium so I can reinstall it anytime!

Interests

I have a lot of hobbies and interests including but not limited to story writing, world-building, drawing, rendering, animations, and gaming. Although I'm rather shy to showcase any of them yet.

Current reading list:

  • Oedipus Rex by Sophocles
  • The Odyssey by Homer
  • Antigone by Sophocles
